Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SQL Cell website at sqlcell.com (“Website”) and the SQL Cell Google Workspace add-on (“Service”). The Website and the Service are operated by Alphaverse Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13758396, VAT GB 422 7402 26), registered office 7 Bell Yard, London, England, WC2A 2JR (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing the Website or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Website or Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms

Acceptance of Terms”By using our Website or Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional guidelines or future modifications. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Website or Service.
2. Use of the SQL Cell Add-on
Section titled “2. Use of the SQL Cell Add-on”We make the following commitments to users of our Google Workspace add-on, SQL Cell:
- Privacy and Data Protection: The add-on requests access to only the spreadsheet you have it open in, to write the results you ask it to write. All query processing is done locally in your browser using DuckDB-WASM. We operate no servers that receive your spreadsheet contents, queries or results. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly which permissions are requested and why.
- No Collection of Personal Information: We do not collect any personally identifiable information through the add-on. The add-on contains no analytics or telemetry of any kind.
- Intellectual Property: We make no claims to the intellectual property contained within your spreadsheets or any data processed through the add-on.
3. Analytics and Tracking
Section titled “3. Analytics and Tracking”Our Website uses Ahrefs Web Analytics for analytics purposes. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies and stores no data on your device. The analytics data collected is anonymized and used solely to improve our Website and Service. By using our Website, you consent to this non-cookie-based data collection. This applies to the Website only — the add-on itself contains no analytics. For more information, refer to our Privacy Policy.
4. License
Section titled “4. License”Unless otherwise stated, Alphaverse Limited and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on the Website. All intellectual property rights are reserved.
The SQL Cell add-on (“Service”) is licensed to you for use strictly in accordance with these Terms. This license permits you to use a single copy of the Service solely for your personal or internal business purposes.
You agree not to:
- License, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service.
- Modify, reverse compile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
5. Use of Third-Party Services

Section titled “Connection to Third-Party Services”SQL Cell may enable you to connect with services offered by third-party providers, such as accessing remote databases over HTTP or S3. SQL Cell acts solely as a facilitation tool, providing the technical means to integrate these services into Google Sheets. We do not control or endorse any third-party services, and your use of such services is at your own risk.
User Responsibility
Section titled “User Responsibility”You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for any costs, fees, or charges incurred through the use of third-party services accessed via SQL Cell. This includes, but is not limited to, subscription fees, usage charges, and any other financial obligations arising from such use.
Indemnification
Section titled “Indemnification”You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alphaverse Limited, its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of third-party services through SQL Cell. This includes any violation of the terms of service or privacy policies of those third-party services.
User Acknowledgment
Section titled “User Acknowledgment”By using SQL Cell to access third-party services, you acknowledge and agree to comply with all applicable terms and policies of those services. SQL Cell is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party services.
6. Removal of Links
Section titled “6. Removal of Links”If you find any content or links on our Website objectionable, please contact us with your concerns. While we are not obligated to remove such content, we will consider all requests and take appropriate action where necessary.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Disclaimer of Warranties”While we strive to ensure that the information on our Website is accurate and up-to-date, we make no warranties or representations regarding its completeness or reliability. The Website and Service are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind.
